How We Can Help
Assisting Neighbors in Need

Haven Totes provides free food to low income families and their children. Additionally, we offer free personal care items to low-income seniors.

Totes for Kids

Volunteers from our faith-based partners provide weekend meals to children. These kids are from low income families and receive free food throughout the year. Totes are packed with non-perishable items and delivered to the school administration offices. From there, they are given out to each child enrolled in our program. Parents must give their permission to participate. Once registered, these families may visit our new pantry where they will receive additional items to feed the entire family. At the beginning of each year, Totes Kids may attend our Haven Fair. At the Fair, they can expect to receive new back packs, new shoes and most importantly, school supplies!

Family Food Pantry

Haven Totes feels the whole family should receive nutritious food items during the month. Mothers and fathers who have children enrolled in our program, are invited to shop at our pantry. Shoppers will receive all food at no charge. Available items include frozen meats, fresh produce, dairy products, bakery items and canned and boxed food. Our pantry days are the first through the fourth Wednesday each month from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Also, the second and fourth Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM. Each Family may shop only once each month.

Totes for Seniors

Haven Totes gathers needed supplies for our seniors. An in-depth analysis is completed, and each person receives the appropriate items for them. These may include books, art supplies and hygiene items. Our volunteers then deliver these to care facilities where they will spend time with each recipient. Our people will spend time with and help each senior by reading books, completing art projects or playing board games during their visit. We strive to provide opportunities for these men and women allowing them to lead a healthy lifestyle.
